Routes go to a pro already mowing your street, which is why $32 weekly works on our side and on yours. Closer pro, lower number.
Rate the first cut 4 or 5 stars and that pro stays on your address. Nobody re-explains the back gate or the dog or the weed strip behind the shed.

Most lawn services hide the price until you take a phone call. Ours is on the page, by ZIP, by frequency. HomeAdvisor's 2026 U.S. average is about $47 per cut. Plowz runs $32 to $45 most weeks because the pro routing your job already mows two doors down. In Syracuse the median Plowz lawn job is $34. In Boston $52. In Chicago $48. In Atlanta $38.

Plowz & Mowz lawn mowing starts at $35 for a single cut on a typical residential lot. Recurring weekly drops to about $32 per cut, every-other-week to $35, and monthly to $45. The exact price depends on lot size, frequency, and any add-ons you pick. You see the final price before you book. The card charges after the photo of the cut lawn lands on your phone, not before.
You pick the day in the booking flow. The flow shows the earliest a pro near you can take the job, often the next morning. Same-day is sometimes possible during quieter weeks. Peak periods like late spring or the days after a holiday weekend may push the soonest open slot out a few days. Earlier booking books an earlier cut.
Real. The pro snaps a time-stamped photo on their phone after the cut and uploads it through the Plowz app. You see the actual finished yard, not a stock shot. The card charges only after that photo lands. If anything looks off, support is one tap away inside the app.
Two filters work for any service company. First: confirm they are licensed and insured in your state. Second: confirm they send proof the work was done so you can spot-check. Plowz & Mowz sends a time-stamped photo of the finished yard on every visit. A real person on support picks up the same day if anything looks off. Re-bookings stay with the same partner because routes are scheduled by ZIP density.
The cheapest cut is usually a recurring weekly route, because the pro is already in your neighborhood. Plowz & Mowz weekly recurring starts at $32 per cut for a typical residential lot. Single cuts run a few dollars higher because the pro travels for the one job.
Sometimes. Independent crews can be cheaper per cut on small jobs, but they often do not carry liability insurance and rarely send proof of completion. Plowz & Mowz routes by ZIP density, so the price is closer to an independent's rate but the pro is top-rated and the job is photo-confirmed.
Standard residential lots up to about half an acre book in the standard pricing tiers. Lots between half an acre and one acre add a per-acre surcharge. Anything above one acre we route to a local pro who runs a larger commercial deck and quotes by visit.
Plowz & Mowz accepts all major credit and debit cards inside the app. Apple Pay support runs through the iOS app at checkout. Your card is charged after the photo of the completed cut lands.
We cover the suburbs of every metro on our list, but very rural ZIPs sometimes fall outside route density. The booking flow will tell you up front if your ZIP is outside our coverage. We do not take jobs we cannot fulfill. In the snow-belt metros the same ZIP density also feeds snow plowing during winter, so the pro who mows your lawn in July is often the same operator clearing your driveway in January.
Cancel the old service after you book your first Plowz & Mowz cut for the same week. Pay per job means you do not need to wait for a contract to expire. If you tell us in the notes which day the prior service used to come, we will match the cadence so the lawn never goes more than 10 days unmowed.
Yes. Tipping is optional and lives inside the app after the photo lands. 100% of the tip goes to the pro. Many regulars tip $5 to $10 on a recurring weekly route during peak season.
Mowing itself does not involve pesticides. If you want a pesticide-free yard, every Plowz & Mowz mow is by default no-spray. For organic fertilization or weed treatment, you can add Lawn Fertilization with the organic option in the booking flow.
A real person on our support team picks up the same day. Not a chatbot, not a ticket queue. We review the photo with you, talk to the pro, and figure out the right next step together. Most issues are resolved within 24 hours.
Weekly during peak season (May to September), every 10 to 14 days in early spring and late fall. The 1/3 rule: never cut more than the top third of the blade. The Plowz weekly recurring route at $32 is timed to the 1/3 rule for a typical residential lawn. Once growth slows in late October many homeowners pair the final cut with a fall yard cleanup on the same visit.
Yes. Every Plowz partner brings a commercial mower, trimmer, and edger. You do not provide equipment, fuel, or trash bags. The price you see covers the gear and the labor.
Mid-morning, 10am to 2pm, for most grasses. Before 10am for fescue in summer. Never on wet grass. Plowz schedules routes to hit the right window for your region and grass type.
A standard Plowz cut includes mowing the lawn, trimming around obstacles, edging the driveway and walks, and blowing clippings off hard surfaces. Add-ons like bagging clippings or hauling debris are separate line items at booking.
We do not mow wet grass. If rain is forecast on your scheduled day, the route shifts to the next dry slot, usually within 24 to 48 hours. You see the new time on your phone. The price does not change.

Drop your ZIP, see your real price, pick the day. A pro who already mows your street takes the job. If anything is off, a Plowz teammate makes it right.
