1. White Rock Lake Dog Park

The newly renovated White Rock Lake Dog Park is a 3-acre “off-leash” dog park. It is located on the northwest side of White Rock Lake Park at the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and W. Lawther Drive. This doggy paradise boasts great views of the lake, trail, and wildflower areas. You and your pet will enjoy the wide variety of big and small K-9’s
that frequent this park, and most importantly, you’re only steps away from hiking, jogging, cycling, or boating around Dallas’ largest lake.

2. NorthBark Dog Park

NorthBark Dog Park is a 22.3-acre “off-leash” dog park in far north Dallas. It is located near the North Dallas Tollway and the President George Bush Tollway. This dog park offers everything a pooch could want, including trails, swale, and an expansive lawn area. Pamper your pet on the unique “dog beach” adjacent to the doggy
lake, frolic on the 6-foot wide loop trail, lounge under the pavilion, or cool off in the doggy shower surrounded by beautiful metal fencing with a custom cut dog silhouettes and elegant flagstone structures.

3. Wagging Tail Dog Park

Wagging Tail Dog Park is a 6.9-acre “off-leash” dog park in North Dallas. It is located northwest of Preston Road.
A wonderful flagstone observation deck rises 35 feet above White Rock Creek and offers majestic views of a waterfall. The beautiful metal fencing with custom cut dog silhouettes, and the expansive landscape is ideal for large and small dogs.

4. Bark Park Central

This urban dog park is in the heart of Deep Ellum with great views of downtown and eclectic artwork. You and your four-legged friend are within walking distance of great dog-friendly restaurants and bars. Bark Park Central is a 1.2-acre “off-leash” dog park in downtown Dallas. It is located on the southwest intersection of Good-Latimer Expressway and Commerce Streets, underneath the elevated portion of US75.

5. Central Dog Park

This park features small and large dogs, green space to play, benches, shelters, dog waste stations, and a lock-and-key entry system. The small shelter within the dog park provides a shaded, central gathering place for the two-legged visitors. Other amenities within the Central Park North Campus include an open meadow, picnic shelter, and restroom facility. The Monon Greenway, Interurban Trail, and all trails within Central Park are easily accessible via short trails connecting into the existing 116th Street perimeter trail. The Central Dog Park currently has 600 four-legged members. Membership is currently full, but interested applicants are welcome to apply for the waitlist.

6. Mutts Canine Cantina

Mutts Canine Cantina is a unique place for you and Fido to enjoy some outdoor fun and meet all sorts of dog people.
The cantina features a dog-friendly public outdoor patio and beer garden and a membership-based off-leash park.
Attendants are on duty in the park to clean up after your pup and provide water while you relax. Membership fees are $8.95 for a day pass, $16.95 for a monthly pass, and $169.50 yearly.

7. Meadow Foundation Dog Park

This pretty dog park is surrounded by a picket fence through which some tiny dogs might be able to escape. There are also benches, grass, and shade trees. Bring water as there is no water source at the park.

8. Jack Carter Dog Park

Pets love the chance to get some off-leash exercise at this fenced dog park, which includes water fountains for both people and dogs, as well as benches and picnic tables. The City of Plano has a very nice dog park that is the perfect place to let your dogs off the leash to run around and play. The park has a designated small dog area and large dog area. The gates are totally separate to enter. Both areas are a good size and have some seating areas along with a track that goes around. Both areas also have several stations filled with bags to help you clean up after your dogs and fountains for your dogs to drink water. Dogs love for a chance to run and play without being on their leash, and this is the perfect place.

9. Railroad Dog Park

This six-acre dog park, located at Toyota of Lewisville Railroad Park, 1301 S. Railroad Street, features two areas for dogs and owners. There is a well-kept pond too. Water is available, but bring water if you can. Hours are typically sunrise to sunset. Check their website for sure. There’s also covered seating in most areas.

10. Rosemeade Dog Park

Rosemeade Dog Park is pet-friendly. There’s a separate side for big and small dogs. Your pooch can enjoy lots of grass on both sides, although the small dog side has more. Dogs must be leashed when entering or leaving the park.
No puppies under 4 months of age allowed. A maximum of 3 dogs per adult are allowed. Aggressive dogs, in heat or sick, are not allowed. All dogs must have current vaccination, and owners must pick-up and dispose of their dog’s feces both in and out of the park.

11. Bush Central Barkway

Richardson’s dog park, Bush Central Barkway, is a six-acre site located under and along the President George Bush Turnpike west of US75. It includes separate areas for large and small dogs, and a rental area is available. The park has a central plaza with restrooms, shade structures, and open space with different textures that include grass, decomposed granite, stone, and logs. There are several options for individuals or organizations to contribute to the Bush Central Barkway. Businesses and individuals have the opportunity for their gift to be acknowledged by a plaque or related signage.

12. Mike Lewis Park

Mike Lewis Park has plenty of areas for dogs to play on a leash, along with water fountains for dogs. The Fitness Trail connects to Waggoner Park. Both parks have multiple restroom facilities and horseshoe pits, a sand volleyball court, fishing pond, softball fields, a playground, pavilion, riding arena, and basketball courts.

13. Coppell Dog Park

This park is great for facilities. Fountains and dog potty stations are available. It is important to make sure your pet is up-to-date on the following vaccinations: rabies, parvo, distemper, bordatella, and has had a recent fecal examination. In addition, we do not recommend pets under 4 months old. Make sure to consult your veterinarian for your pet’s specific needs.

14. Rockwall Dog Park

The Dog Park at Harry Myers Park has plenty of open space for your best friend to run freely. The dog park has two fenced-in off-leash dog play areas. There is also a common drinking water area for people and pets to refresh themselves. Owners or custodians of dogs are legally liable for the dog’s actions and behavior at all times. All dogs must be licensed and vaccinated. Female dogs in heat are not permitted in the park. Aggressive dogs must be leashed and removed immediately. The owner is legally responsible for damages or injuries. Make sure to bag and dispose of your pet’s waste immediately. No smoking, food, alcohol, dog chews, or glass containers are allowed on premises either.

15. Jack Carter Park Dog Park

The dog park is a double-gated, fenced, two-acre area along Bluebonnet Trail, near its intersection with Chisholm Trail in central Plano. It features a separate area for large and small dogs with shade shelters, picnic tables, benches, LED lighting, water stations for humans and dogs, waste pickup/disposal stations, and a dog rinse station near the parking lot. A warning strobe will be activated before the lights automatically turn off. Please leave adequate time to vacate the park. The dog rinse station is winterized during the winter months and remains off until spring.
