Plowz & Mowz Precision Weather Alert – Syracuse, NY – 2/13 from Plowz and Mowz

Another storm is set to dump snow over New England this weekend but not before it stops by Syracuse for a modest snow event. A clipper system is moving over the Great Lakes through Western and Central New York over the next 12-18 hours before moving East to New England. There will be occasional lake effect snow tonight and moderate snow fall for tomorrow. Downtown Syracuse will get about 3-5” as will Cicero, Brewerton and the rest of the area north of the Thruway. Jamesville-Dewitt, Manlius, and other towns to the south east will see 3-6” on the ground. The hills just to the south of town, around Nedrow and Lafayette will also get 3-6”.

While the snowfall might not be much, especially for a snow town like Syracuse, the freezing cold temperatures that come with it will surely make you want to stay inside.
