Best Dog Parks in Chicago

WRITTEN BY Mary Clare

The city of Chicago is filled with endless activities for humans but what about our four-legged friends in the city?  Finding a pup-friendly activity in the Windy City should not be difficult.  Discovering a new dog park in your area can be great for both pet and owner!  And the best kind of dog parks are equipped with all the amenities for dogs like water fountains, dog-waste clean-up stations, and lots of green grass for dogs of all sizes to run and play.  With a trip to the local dog park, your pup can meet some new furry friends (& maybe some human friends for you too!)

Wiggly Field Dog Park

Located on the Northside of Chicago, Wiggly Field Dog Park is Chicago’s ‘first official dog exercise and play area’.  One of the city’s most popular and well-known dog parks, Wiggly Field is the perfect place to bring your pup!  There are three different parks available to accommodate dogs of all sizes. At this self-supervised dog park, both water and poop bags are readily available for all park-goers.
