Plowz & Mowz Precision Weather Alert – Chicago – 1/31/15 from Plowz and Mowz

The Chicago area looks like it will be one of the more severely affected areas during Winter Storm Linus, with the bulk of its snowfall coming in a relatively short period of time. There’s a Winter Storm Warning in effect for the area starting tonight at 9pm until tomorrow at 9pm. The bulk of the snow looks to fall tomorrow morning into tomorrow night. South Chicago & Riverdale are expecting about 8-12” while Woodlaw, Hyde Park, Beverly, and the Southwest side of town expecting 7-11”. The Northside and Lincoln park areas are expecting about 6-10”.  Keep in mind that this much snow is expected to fall in a relatively short period of time so visibility will be very limited, especially with blowing, drifting snow in the area.
