The Problem:

After three years of neglecting my lawn, I decided I needed to do something about it. My yard had spotty areas all over, and it needed some love and attention. The Results:

After laying down the dirt and spreading the seed, I watered the lawn twice daily. I was careful not to overwater, though. I also used my spreader to lay down the fertilizer. After five days, the seed germinated, which was impressive. Keep in mind the weather was in the 60’s-mid ’70s. After ten days, all the areas where I applied dirt and seed were filled out and completed with fresh grass. The grass also blended in very well with the existing grass. So to fast forward two weeks later, the lawn looks fantastic.

The Conclusion:

I spent a lot of money, but it was worth it because I didn’t want this process to be drawn out for a month with lackluster results. Having two kids and a dog that wanted to play on the lawn required me to fast-track this project with these premium products. The task was time-consuming, mainly because I had to water five areas of my property.
