With that in mind, our first Precision Weather Alert is here to warn us about upcoming Winter Storm Damon.
The National Weather Service has issued an advisory calling for 8-12 inches from Tuesday through Thursday in Central New York. Light snowfall on Tuesday with low temperatures and high winds will give way to heavier snowfall Tuesday night through Wednesday. The snow is expected to lighten up on Thursday though travel may still be impeded by icy roads.
