While our neighbors along the coast have been getting bombarded with snow this week due to Winter Storm Juno, things have been relatively quiet for us in Syracuse. That looks to change tonight and into this weekend as we’re expecting some snow in the area.
There’s a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for the Greater Syracuse Area starting tonight at 5pm until tomorrow at 5pm. We’re expecting the snow to start developing tonight with snow showers tonight and Friday followed by occasional lake effect snow throughout the weekend. Areas North of the Thruway will be the most affected with 4-8” while Downtown, the Southeast suburbs, and the hills South of the city will see 3-6”.
